Well, we can start by not adding the $81 billion taken from the Recovery Act and added to the budget of the federal Department of Education. Or better yet, eliminate the remaining allocated funds for the Recovery Act. Anyone else?

Gotcha - I bought some sunblock at the airport in Mexico City - same price as US - a friend got some Retinol - much cheaper. Ya I think some dudes I work with pick up the V cause of the no prescription thing..

Thanks for the input UB6 good point - a lot of our government controls of generics and drugs in general here prevent them from being cheap - Americans also pick up stuff like Antibiotics, Retinol, Viagra etc in Mexico because it's much cheaper.

Oh I agree it's sort of apples to oranges.... the Canadian health care system is obviously different but I don't see any evidence that it is better than what we have in the US.... And I wasn't talking about free clinics - I have a cash only clinic about a block away here in Boynton Beach FL, and two...

I read fatties post slick. Although it is not evident why he needs to see a medical professional (backstory?) or why it would be appropriate to see a "professor" at a free clinic - is he talking about an accredited medical doctor than teaches at a medical school?

Any 'schlub' off the street can walk into a clinic in the US and get service from a GP without a letter for an appointment, and you're not likely to wait more than 20 minutes. Oh, and if you actually need a routine surgery (broken bones etc not organ transplants) I've personally had to wait one, thr...
