Re: is there an Over/Under for the Trump admin?

Agreed. And from the little substance he does espouse, I disagree with it to the core. I'm still hoping for your smoking gun. Query: is Pence an improvement?

Re: Fake news

I still trying to wrap my mind around whether it is strategic, to persuade or distract from reality, or just the rantings of a crazy and delusional person. I think I'm leaning towards the latter, but really, can he be that damn dumb? To know he has the nuclear codes is frightening.

Fake news

I recognize that each news outlet has an agenda. However, Mr. Trump's vitriol against the Fourth Estate is very troubling to me. What do you think? Many believe that by ruining the credibility of the media, Trump has convinced far too many that he is the only source of "true" information. It reminds...

Re: When will all this madness end?

It's an intentional inclusion. The Swedish have taken many refugees. The Trumpeteers will hear that a fake event is true, just because Mr. Trump says so. And then, will parlay that into an argument that forms US policy. Trump loves creating false premises to roar up his fired up base.

What can I say other than I hope you are correct. I wish Mr. Trump would quit campaigning and try to govern. I guess throwing red meat to his base is all he is good at though. I actually am going to backtrack, I really don't want him governing - the more he is gone the better.

Re: is there an Over/Under for the Trump admin?

I concur, to an extent. At this point, Ryan and McConnell appear to be pleased, and thus, I see little to no resistance. However, I see no legislation reaching the floor or Mr. Trump's desk either. Obviously, they are pleased with the Gorsuch appointment. I'm interested to know why you think there w...

Re: is there an Over/Under for the Trump admin?

I think it depends on whether you mean an actual removal of Trump or an effective end of his influence. Unless some smoking gun, a la Watergate, is revealed, I doubt he'll ever be impeached. I think he's looking at a bloodbath in the midterms. Which gets to the second point...the GOP is pleased with...

Re: hello Houston

Ah, I see someone likes to live vicariously through the exploits of their team. Yep, the Pats won. Good for them. But, regardless, you don't get to wear any rings. In fact, you didn't play. It also doesn't change the fact that Mr. Brady cheated, and tried to hide the evidence. He's good enough, on a...

U.S. Electoral College

I am curious to know what you think about the Electoral College. As many of you are aware, Mr. Trump lost the popular vote by nearly 3 million votes, but won the Electoral College in significant fashion. Do you believe this is a fair system, and if so, why?
