Re: Obama.....the constant embarrassment

The juxtaposition on our front page this morning is striking. We carry a photograph of Acting Sgt Michael Lockett - who was killed in Helmand on Monday - receiving the Military Cross from the Queen in June, 2008. He was the 217th British soldier to die in the Afghan conflict. Alongside the picture,...

Re: 4.09 soon to be released, readme out already

That is great. Hopefully it will lock up the sim again and get rid of all those mods. My hopes are slim though, because with all the time and personal interest invested in mods, I would not be surprised if major servers simply ignore Oleg's final 4.09 and go on as they are right now. The pdf readme ...

Re: Logitech G940 Review

Well, all you kiddies are doing is punching up information on the internet, you have no first-hand knowledge of what you are talking about, BUT I can change that for you! ANY CWOS member that lives close enough to me, or has someone they trust, in the Buffalo, Cleveland, Pittsburgh triangle, can hav...

Re: Why your automobile or vehicle has poor fuel efficiency.....

Now the first statement is not exactly going to surprise anyone ...and the second?, well its Bollox isnt it, petrol just doesnt have that many calories in it, that burning it could propel an actual practical 1/2 ton plus real world car 1000 miles no matter how efficient the engine No, it isn't Boll...

Juha, did you ever read someone's reply to something you wrote and you could tell right off the bat they either did not read it well, did not understand it all, or skipped over parts of it?

Re: Logitech G940 Review

Of course your Z-28 does not get as good a mileage, because it has a performance rear axle ratio, the engine turns over at a much higher rpm on the highway than the Caprice engine does. The Caprice LS, that gets 31mpg highway, is geared to turn very low rpms in OD, my other Caprice, with F41 heavy d...

Why your automobile or vehicle has poor fuel efficiency.....

Why your automobile or vehicle has poor fuel efficiency..... Ninety years ago, you could travel in your Model T Ford at the rate of 25 miles per gallon of fuel. In the late forties, your Nash four-door sedan could better that by a few on the highway when it's overdrive was engaged. Today, in 2009, m...

Re: Logitech G940 Review

he's dyslexic, he meant 13 MPG, the only way he'd get 31 out of that thing was if it was on a Tow Truck I took it on a 574 mile trip recently, I kept it below 60 mph and in overdrive all I could, and it used a little over 18 gallons of gas, actually getting around 31.5 mpg. Most everyone is ignoran...

Re: Include all weapons

Where I live if someone is carrying rebar or a knife and approaches you unfriendly-like you have tacit permission to smoke him. Especially if he's the size you say you are, Jumo. You really aren't the brightest bulb in the pack. At least I can READ. I never said I approached anyone in an unfriendly...
