Re: Recent Example of Transformation.....

ruggie....one of the great fallacies about the car business is the Union thing. It was bad(really, really bad) management. Management signed those union contracts, and wouldn't have done so if it ensured a loss. What doomed GM and Chrysler is that they made shitty cars and they made car types that w...

ok, so Ruggie missed it(or used the post to go on about a rant that's been bugging him). Next? C'mon, guys, I know several of you can see this, if you read the article. Hint: here's a prime example of why to NEVER base your investment strategies on newspaper articles or economic analysts public stat...

Re: Once again, is it just me?

I agree, I think, with where you're headed with this one, Tolwyn. If we're going to react like a bunch of crazed schoolgirls every time one of these nuts gets into the system, in a sense, the terrorists have already won. I'm all for sound security, but a bit of resolve(a la the Brits during the Blit...

Re: Recent Example of Transformation.....

Tolwyn, care to give an example of how anyone, given what he's been facing could do better? Your statement, on the surface, is idiotic. Let me elaborate: clearly the man has both the intellect and skill set to handle the job, but to do really well, the whole nation has to be on board. We ain't there...
