Inglourious Basterds

Post by JoeA »

Anyone seen this flick? Recommended though I think it was too long by about 45 minutes. Best acting was the brilliant performance by Christoph Waltz as the SS Colonel Landa...great homage and parody of the great war films at the same time.

Oh and while I am a huge stickler for historical accuracy in films, I did manage to turn it off for this film. It has very little in common with real history. I'm not talking just mistakes in the uniforms either.

Saw it and liked it for what it was. Plenty of killin, some twisted "tarantino-esque" humor and some very interesting perspectives. IMO, Landa was the star as well.
