Again, you are talking out of your ass. Straw purchases are illegal in all states, as per Federal law. I'm not sure what the number is now, but buying a certain amount of weapons at one time forces the dealer to fill out a form to send in to ATF notifying them of the purchases. What you have no clue about is that local law enforcement does only the background check regarding gun purchases, everything else is handled by ATF. And ATF was behind the straw purchases. The purchasers were told to buy the guns at dealer X, and dealer X was told to allow it. I know the owner of one of the gun stores, but haven't seen him in years. He never would have participated in this bullshit had he not been told to by ATF. And knowing first hand how they work he was most likely ordered to comply or lose his license.
