Not really going to discuss it but really im not surprised in the slightest and as the latest comment states

I'm not a fan of Blair, but, with almost no exception, they're all [politicians] in it for themselves and the fact that they've [Members of Parliament] got as far as they have suggests to me that they are not trustworthy and are unscrupulous.

The newspapers (especially the Daily Mail) are similarly tarred in my book.

There's a general election coming up, so you can expect a lot more of this kind of stuff in the newspapers.
