Automation

Post by callmeslick »

....which will cost at least half of US workers their jobs in a decade, is coming. Trouble is, it is coming to the US in the form of foreign infrastructure:

who do you think will employ the bulk of the tech support personnel? Where will they be citizens?

Automation is just another scapegoat for the Libtards.

Remember when a color TV cost a few months wages?

Truth is you can still spend that if you want an 80" LED TV.

But if yo want a 30" set it can be as cheep as $200.

Automation only helps the average Jo's purchasing power.

Automation will also help shut down China Inc.

care to try again to follow the rules, everyone....? Going back to the 'libtard' comment the past few exchanges were ALL out of bounds. Now, I know this is new to everyone. I'm going to respond to one, try and reset, and any more bullshit and the thread closes.

to 'scapegoat' means to unfairly blame someone(something). How does automation, which is very real, started already and accelerating in global speed, unfairly to blame for anything? Oh, and stop with 'libtard', you sound like a moron saying that.

no, that was increased productivity before the age of automation, robotics and AI eliminate the jobs. When 60% of the public is either out of work or working part time in low wage service jobs, who cares how cheap the fucking TV is, when you are scraping together subsistance money for food? That is where politics DOES come it, because the general breakdown ten years off will be roughly like this: 5% of population--Investors and families, 10% of population--creators, tech innovators, specialized professionals and famiies, 30%--service jobs to prior two classes, maybe even 50%, if the pay gets pushed low enough, 40-45% unemployed, disabled, or retired in poverty. Without a ROBUST social safety net, those people are screwed. You mention China? They will have an issue, but this is where years of 1 kid policy will pay dividends, and they already have a full social safety net in place. India may have serious social issues, though, due to excess population.
