I could write/right 500 words about this...though the link pretty much sums it up. Globalization will never happen. Why?
Russia, China, Middle East and N.Korea....that's why.

China is the only one of those 4 that can potentially influence the whole thing, but they are sitting on a shitload of raw materials(rare earth minerals, to be precise) needed for the coming wave of automation. Maybe you won't see total globalization due to nationalist, regionalist or other tribal behaviors, but those involved will get left behind. You can see that in history: essentially, the Muslim world got stuck in the 17th century in certain regions, some parts just within the US fall behind because they don't embrace participation in the 21st century economy, or worse, cannot due to infrastructure shortcomings. As often is the case, Breitbart has it wrong, knows they do, but the truth wouldn't advance their nouveau-nationalist narrative.

17th century?

Try the 8th century.

If the Muzzies take over
most of us will be executed outright
then we will degenerate into Sharia law
the rest becoming goat herders.

Automation and Globalization are
the most likely outcome.

What is left of free will die very soon in a wave
of ultra miniature cheap cameras and microphones.

We are already half way there. New devises
that make workable lens free cameras nearly
microscopic will really screw the pooch.
The above cameras are already in production.

Implanted brain chips along with thought police
will be the next wave.

We possess the technology to make Orwell's 1984
look like a children's bed time story.

went to an art exhibit up at Princeton last year(that, by the way, is a sort of decent little college up the road, Pud and Slappy), it felt like strolling through a park in a small Chinese town.

yes, I did. Care to elaborate on what I missed, before I just delete that post?
