we have an ongoing pick-em pool which now covers two sports: NFL football, and Australian Rules Football(the AFL). Attrition has us down to a mere 4 people, myself, two Canadians and Fats(an honest-to-gawd Aussie). Res can give you the technical details and please, join us.

oh, and be prepared for a long process. The AFL season,as best as the North American contingent can figure out, seems to last about 63 weeks.

no, It's Aussie Rules Football, as best as the North American contingent can tell, a sort of mix of rugby, modern dance and hand-to-hand combat, with kicking of stuff involved. They score points, but most of us still don't understand HOW, completely. The pool comes linked to odds and stats, and Fats also links videos or has given website linkage. That way, if you figure out how the freaking sport works, let me know. The wierd thing was, I actually won the AFL pool one year.

Aussie rules football is a lot like Cricket. Even the people playing can't figure out the rules.
