Ok DL'd 4.11 and the hotfix, not installed them yet as my version from the backup is 4.09m.

So I guess I need to find the 4.10 patch before applying 4.11 and if so where will I find it?

It's not problematic as long as you obey the order of installation.
I installed 411 patch and didn't have probs but installed hotfix nevertheless.

Main Issue I had was finding a link that worked for the patches.

My HD backup was 4.09m so I pulled that onto my gaming rig.

Then went to the link in my prev post, and then used this link :

Dl'd 4.10 and 4.101 ( small 64mb fix for 4.10 )

After than launched QMB to make sure no issues.

Then installed 4.11 and then 4.11 hotfix and ran QMB again.

Job done

Same here DKoor...except, I have not experienced an issue and thus have not installed the hotfix....seems to work ok for me....

C'mon Soapy!!! Load her up...get'r done... I've seen a couple of 4.11 servers in HL....

Meanwhile though, Sniper is on 4.08m client, I can't seem to find 4.09m client ( can see server patches though ) so he can then follow the same steps I did earlier.

Any good links for a patch from 4.08 to 4.09 ?
