Fecking retarded sailor..............The only way to tell if the gun is empty is to open up the action and look into the breech. If you can't see a round chambered then it's safe to clean. Otherwise it's hot and ready to kill. I've handled firearms my whole life and shot semi-professionally and have never had an A.D. because I follow that rule, which is rule #2.
