Time to revive the SR-71

Post by HappyHappy »

The era of drones and remote control has already passed!
Anyone cam jam the things once they learn what frequency
we are operating at.

We the people built the best in 1962 (as the A-12).
Take em out of storage, re-posess em from museums.
REVIVE the SR-71 program!

Well, that's not gonna happen....
To large a carbon foot print...
Won't create enough jobs....
It has nothing to do with furthering entitlement...
No impact on Obama's re-election efforts...

Most important?
It doesn't waste enough money.

Many other reasons...that's just a few....

Happy Holidays HH ;)

The next reconnaissance vehicle will be a high atmospheric VTOL frame.

AKA: Zeppelin!!!

All the SR motors were trashed doing high speed ramjet testing years ago.... and recreating the no longer existing tooling to rebuild / build motors would be prohibitively expensive.

Much cooler than that plastic remote control crap we use now though..
