Cut down .303 pistol
Might be a bit snappy
Re: Might be a bit snappy
That oughta be good for about three feet of flame.
With 220 gr bullets, it'd be a handful.

Blasphemy nothing better than 174 grains of British imperialismPudfark wrote: With 220 gr bullets, it'd be a handful.

This might stop the muzzle flash and make it a tad front heavy
Re: Might be a bit snappy
I believe the original loading for the .303 was something like a 220gr back in the day.fatman wrote:Blasphemy nothing better than 174 grains of British imperialismPudfark wrote: With 220 gr bullets, it'd be a handful.
The Brit's got to bitching about the recoil....the Germans had the 8mm with a lighter, flatter shooting bullet....so, the Brits adopted a lighter bullet load, probably the 174gr you mentioned. No shame, we did the exact same with our 30-06 went down to 150-148gr rounds.
I did like the "can"....
I bet it gets "hotter than a $2 pistol"...

Book marked under Zombie apocalypse (and Obama apocalypse should it come first)!
Now we have demonstrable evidence that if you try to lead from behind, eventually the guys up front will stop looking back for instructions.
