Re: Good news everybody
damn, I thought the thread was about getting a green card.
Re: Good news everybody
Nice find fats...
I think a remake would be very doable today...most especially with the special effects capability.
What, I'd like to see nearly as much....made? "Red Storm Rising" by Tom Clancy Doable as well, I believe.
BTW, I have a whole series of photo's I took back in the day....of a ground up, every rivet replaced, Spitfire Mk IX restoration/flyable.
Had a brand new/factory overhauled to zero time RR Merlin in it. A stunning aircraft. The owner, a famous Houston Lawyer, also had a converted T-6 Texan to Mitsubishi Zero for the movie Tora Tora Tora..was also used in Ba Ba Blacksheep, I believe. Pics of that too. Also an old Cessna 'Bamboo Bomber'.....

Merlin engined Me109?
Meh
Meh
Re: Good news everybody
I agree...but no other engines will work, no more Daimler Benz engines available..anywhere. Merlin is prolly the only thing that will work considering weight/balance CG.
