Good deal - a victory for those who understand the need to enforce laws to prevent illegal migration, and a loss for those who would use those migrants for purely political purposes.

Yeah, some politicians just lost the illegal immigrant vote in the next election.

They're not supposed to be able to. Only citizens are allowed to. And our ballots are printed in Spanish as well. Funny thing is, the citizenship test is only printed in English........................

No they can't vote; it's a shortcut to citizenship and will promote more illegal immigration just like the '86 amnesty did.

Anybody seen this?
The Government(s) intend to use Biometrics as an ultimate authentication tool, can they let the private sector use, collect or even share “Governmental” Biometric records?

I don't need one of those. I own my business. And the Registrar of Contractors has my pertinent info and fingerprints.

what I'm surprised at(no, I suppose not, really), is that not one of you expressed the effect this will have on the national Immigration debate. I'm guessing the hard right in AZ just won the battle and lost the war.
Already, law enforcement is divided( Rugg's sheriff says Attaboy, Tucson's says he won't enforce it at all) over the local law. But, on the larger level, it seems to be unifying and motivating the pro-immigration and Hispanic lobbies. In the long run, you might well see a nationwide push for sensible Immigration reforms,
perhaps a bit more money for enforcement and another big Amnesty like during Reagan's term.

Wow, you really don't give a fuck about how much illegal immigration affects crime and wages. You're a douche, just like your bitch Res.
