Anybody Shoot Black Powder?

Post by Buzz »

I bought an 1860 (replica) Colt cap and ball revolver. What a kick to shoot. A big bang, lots of smoke, and more power than I thought it would have. I bought a holster and I practice fast draw everyday. I kill lots of tin cans, and it always puts a big grin on my face shooting it.

Anybody else into black powder guns?

Hope you practice fast draw with an un loaded weapon.
A close friend blew his right foot into a hamburger like mess
doing fast draw with a Colt SAA in .45 long Colt.
He walks just fine with a foot like prosthesus that straps
to his lower leg and heel remnent.
Yes, he had it cocked.

Kind of hard to hit my target with an unloaded gun.

Your friend was a moron, Happy. The only gun you can carry cocked safely is a 1911, as long as you use the manual safety.

Problem is that in the opinion of Callmesick, everything is political.
Since he has continuosly got his Democratic ass handed to him
he takes any chance he can find to insult the rational people he
is comitted to dominate.

Just ignore him.

I find it odd that anyone owning a firearm would refer to Callmesick as his "buddy".
I find Callmesick to be a reprehensable little piece of defication.
We the people have no use for communists like Callmesick.

I used to be involved with the manufacture of black powder firearms ar TC Arms Rochester NH
back when KW Thompson and Warren Center were alive.
But since you are a friend of a bleeding communist I will avoid contributing to this discussion.

Maybe we will get lucky and in the near future you can tell us about how you blew your foot off
