My first grandchild, Matthew, joined the world this morning at 12:35 AM. Mother and baby are doing fine, grandma and grandpa are worn out......... :)

I'm a practical sort, so I'll start with teaching him proper sentence structure and proofreading skills..... :P
Next, I'll focus on taking the kid fishing.
I figure, with any sort of brain, he'll come to his own political conscience. As long as he fishes with me in my elderly years(in other words, lugs my stuff across sand dunes and ties on flies for me when I can't see), it's all good...... :)

My daughter gets awarded her law degree on Friday, but hopefully will be producing no sprogs for a while.

Congrats to you Slick, and make sure to wet the baby's head in fine style. 8-)

wow, Commie! A post in a non-cherry position on the page. I am truly honored! :D

I'm not sure what the 'wet the baby's head' reference means. Dare I ask?

Our first is about to turn 4 and our second is about 3 weeks away.
