You'll get no argument from me on that. Everything went to shit post Oleg.
777 Studios is trying to keep it all alive but the community has fizzled. And the whole idea of buying airplanes after you have already purchased the game is pure bullshit. They've turned it into a fun-to-play, pay-to-win game.
I still have it installed on another computer but I couldn't even tell you where my joystick is. Can't remember the last time I laid eyes on it.

Glad to hear it Callme. How are you finding life in the good old US these days?
writ large, it is a full-on clusterfuck. We are led by Russian dupes and idiots. The vast majority of us are pretty much appalled, and likely to
send the current crowd packing.

Haha, despite being a 1000th generation Aussie, I've never been one for AFL myself. I know, deport me now.

Anyone still playing games these days, or have we all moved on? Dickwad loyalists like that Rnzoli or whatever his name was did so much to ruin the community when Oleg abandoned it.
as for games, I came to CWOS because of car racing sims, via Buzz and a few others. Never did fly, just argued with a lot who did!!

What are you lads up to now?
Res and I got married :D
I've never flown but use to sit nearby just to hear all the accents come across Res's comms.
We met Slick in person!!
(I got a bit tipsy, had my first ever southern made biscuits and gravy and saw some amazing sights thanks to Slick!! :) )
And if I can play and win or almost win in either NFL or AFL you can too, you know, just for shitz and giggles of it all. ;)

I was thinking more an alcohol induced fantasy about threesomes with the barmaid and a married waterman!!

yes, on the social end, Rhino, I actually met some ACWOS folks beyond the couple I knew in real life before coming here(Stick and BP Nutz). Fatman gifted me a wicked cool Aussie Football jersey, autographed by an embarrassing amount of players. I still owe him, but have yet to acquire the roughly 800 million dollars needed to procure American athlete's autographs. Chipz and Res came down to the beautiful Eastern Shore of Virginia to my family stomping grounds. Stay in touch with Soapy, but past that, we have grave fears about the well-being of Buzz, haven't heard from Ruggie in a while, nor Nic, and as for the vast lot of those who stomped off a decade back, fuggem.
