Re: Week 3 NFL picks
slicks picks:
San Fran @ Kansas City
Detroit @ Minnesota
Buffalo @ New England
Atlanta @ New Orleans
Tennessee @ NY Giants
Pittsburgh @ Tampa Bay
Cincinnati @ Carolina
Cleveland @ Baltimore
Dallas @ Houston
Washington @ St Louis
Philadelphia @ Jacksonville
Indianapolis @ Denver
Oakland @ Arizona
San Diego @ Seattle
NY Jets @ Miami
Green Bay @ Chicago
Total points in Monday game as tiebreaker, Res? If so, I'll take 39
Pick in red involved use of darts and blindfold. The dog should recover in two or three days......

Re: Week 3 NFL picks
Good point, Slick. I didn't think about tie breakers.
How about total points of MNF. Under beats over.
If you guess 37 and I guess 43 and the score is 40....you win. Otherwise closest wins.

Re: Week 3 NFL picks
sounds fine, Res. Sucks to run this as a two-man contest....but, then again, it's a pleasant distraction from
the absolute nonsense the PL has evolved into.

Re: Week 3 NFL picks
well, I'll say one thing.....we're gonna have a clear cut winner this week. You and I diverge hugely. Even down to the points on Monday. How do you figure those two offenses come up with that many points? Without Grant, the Pack loses a bit of versatility against a savvy defense, and Chicago is just, well, Chicago.

Re: Week 3 NFL picks
Question: Who's the highest rated quarterback in the NFL so far this year?
Answer: Jay Cutler....121.2 QB rating and he's completing 70% of his passes.
I expect this game to be a high scoring shoot out with the running game taking a back seat on both sides of the field.
A final score of something like 30 - 24 would not surprise me.
