Le Japs are le rooted :shock: When it first happened the news reports are no deaths but you could see vehicles driving parralel with the wave face they werent getting out of that. And i dont know we are having a wave warning we have Indonesia in between us and the event, and breaking news surfers are heading for the coast not in Japan though

Looks like the thing has blown latesr pics plenty of smoke/dust and earlier rods were exposed to the air

Looks like the quake moved Japan by 8 feet and changed the earths axis 4" mother nature what can you do :o

add to that the fact that depth charts for coastal regions have to altered by up to 3 feet in a lot of places,
GPS system data has to be completely retooled(thanks to the axis change, and the rotation speed change),
and one can only stand in awe at the power of nature.

It's going to cost Japan trillions to mitigate the damages...
It seems they have lost considerable refineries along with
the nuclear problems....Hurricane Katrina was an absolute
nothing...compared to the magnitude of this devastation... :(

true. Probably not a great morning to own stock on the Japanese markets. Add to the above issues that
they currently have a national debt of 2X GDP(pre-earthquake GDP) and you have a real potential issue.
