Anyone need new speakers?

I was reading on an Audio forum, and came across this interesting, um, set of speakers:

Who woulda thunk it?....I go to this thread for a little more amusement, hoping to see another side of Slick...particularly after just posting a reply on another thread...which associated Slick with self flaggelation....and I see here, that he posted a link to "YankoDesigns"...and I am roflmao....that's just to damn funny.....Its a cruel world Slick, no matter how you redistrubute it.....

Old Pudfark...who sez: "That thar link is slicker than cum on a gold tooth"

Made any additions/changes to your stereo, Slick?

I just got an active crossover and will be building speakers soon.

Tubes for highs
Luxman L-110 for mids/midbass
Kenwood KR-9600 for the balls

I got a new (old) cart too. Shure V15 type III.

nice(although very personal choice) cartridge. No new additions, but might be looking at
a new CD player at Xmas. Also, am getting new tweeter diaphraghms for the Klipsch speakers.
Oh, I did get a new cartridge a while back--Denon DL-160.....sweet!

As soon as I get a phono pre that can handle MC carts, the DL-160 was my planned first shot at anything other than a MM cart. Even though it's a HOMC, I don't have quite enough gain from any of my phono pres. My Kenwood would probably do somewhat alright at 2.5 mV sensitivity but the Luxman wants to see 3.0 mV. The Luxman pre blows the Kenwood away. I'm likely going to build a tube/transformer MM/MC pre that would handle the DL-160 and even LOMC carts. But first, tri-ampable speakers.
