HD's are cool but high cost of service and over all operating costs are higher than most bikes.
The new Triumph is at least reliable compared with Triumph, Lucas electric and Anal (Amal) Carbs of old.

The Steve McQueen special definately pegs the "Cool-O-meter".

If you want reliability, buy a HD (HonDa)....

I was in the Harley service business for a few years, I rode a HonDa...

Steve McQueen model, it has proper wheels, its Green.
But in all honesty neither are real Triumphs and neither will ever be more than a marketing mans take on nostalgia for the middle aged, same as buying a new - retro Harley
