you keep harping upon this despite the fact that they have looked likewise for a decade, yet always been able to get key ground yardage when needed. Furthermore, short passes ARE a big part of their ground game.

yet, again last night, you saw the standard Pats D: yardage can be run up on them, and they're a gift to the opposing RBs in the fantasy leagues, if yardage is important. Still, TDs are VERY tough to get out of them. and they make 2 or 3 stellar plays at key times in every game. No worries here, Bub, that's the defense that sends me to Supah Bowl pahhhties in New England every few years.

Meh, I don't know what game you watched last night but in the one I watched a reasonably good High School football team could have scored 4 TDs against that Steelers D.
