The current Vegas line is Pats -3.
When two evenly matched teams play Vegas will always give 3 points to the HOME team. Denver is the home team!
No one is afraid of the Broncos offense. No one!
The 3 point line for the Pats is Vegas saying that Denver's defense can keep it a close game. I have my doubts.

if Denver beats them it will likely HAVE to be due to the defense. Turnovers, etc, and special teams play will be important, too. These two old guys put on a good game most times, so looking forward to it. Haven't bought any train tickets to/from New England yet.....hopeful for next Monday.

what is shocking you? The line held, and their consensus picks are a bit odd, given the play so far. Not implausible, but Manning will have to have a hell of a day to see a 16 point victory.
