Re: hello Houston
good, now that those are agreed upon, feel free to put forth your list of those better since, say, 1990.

Re: hello Houston
Let's put a slightly different spin on this.
Take Tom Brady out of the Pats roster. He never played for them. He got drafted by the Chicago Bears.
Now plug in any one of the following names:
Donovan McNabb
Marc Bulger
Brett Favre
Steve McNair
Randall Cunningham
Carson Palmer
Aaron Rodgers
Troy Aikman
Joe Theismann
Kurt Warner
Jim Kelly
Eli Manning
Drew Brees
Philip Rivers
Tony Romo
Ben Roethlisberger
Now ask the question: With one of those alternate names, would the Pats go to half a dozen Super Bowls since 2003?
The answer is ... yes. Yes they would.
Because in New England in the Hoodie era it's all about the system. You could put Bernie Kosar on that team and they would go to half a dozen Super Bowls.
Tom Brady didn't make the Pats great. The Pats made Tom Brady great.

Re: hello Houston
no way. Of course, some of those, like Aikman, sort of predate the modern era. I can VOUCH for neither of the Philly ex-QBs having the slightest prayer. You are correct about the Hoodie and the System, but you need the right MENTALITY and accuity to field manage the system, which is why it always takes a couple years before their backups get fully functional at all. Most of the list would WIN, to be sure, but I'm pretty certain none would do it as much as Brady has, for the strengths I enumerated, which are better in sum than anyone on the list. The two that DO jump out, in a sense of "that would be interesting to see", would be Rothlisberger and Rivers.

Re: hello Houston
Vengeance for what, exactly? Getting caught cheating and then being punished? There is reason why a vast majority of people hate Pats. Go Falcons! Rise Up!
