The point of showing this is to highlight Donald's hypocrisy in signing "Buy/Hire American" executive orders and claiming that immigrants are "undercutting American labor at less cost," while simultaneously avoiding hiring American workers.

Since 2010, nearly 300 United States residents have applied or been referred for jobs as waiters, waitresses, cooks and housekeepers there. But according to federal records, only 17 have been hired.

They aren't looking to hire Americans and that is clear.

News reports suggested Mar-A-Lago did the bare minimum to meet legal requirements to try to recruit U.S. workers. For example, CNN wrote that job openings were placed in a local newspaper with small circulation for just two days rather than a larger newspaper. [Source - Politifact]
