Its a good debate...but all HappyHappy can do is spout "Nu-uh" ...cant back up anything he posts...thats just too funny. Dont worry ..maybe one day that brain cell will split and u will have TWO brain cells to work with.

The thing is there are scientific fact in the bible that was written 2000 years ago that scientist are just now proving true. Yet they were written by people who could not have scientificly known of such things.
For instance:There are mountains on the bottom of the ocean floor (Jonah 2:5-6). Only in the last century have we discovered that there are towering mountains and deep trenches in the depths of the sea.
Yet the bible doesnt answer all of anyones questions. If it did...there would be no reason for FAITH. And the bible says that.
I do find it mathmaticly wrong to say we evoled from anything. According to Darwins theory all life is constantly changing and evolving. Humans have only been on the earth for about 200,000 years. And we have built cities, art, cars, airplanes, ect.
But the crocodile has been here for 300 million years?
Cockroaches have been on earth for 400 million years?
Whales have been on earth about 40 million years.
So why is it no other form of life on earth has evoled to where humans have? Its mathmaticly inpossible that humans would be the only form of life on earth to evoled to this state. And in such a short time.

you clearly fail to grasp that humans(or, for that matter, any other creature) didn't just start up at some point and then evolve. Humans are an end point of biological evolution that started with single celled organisms and then branched out, in response to environmental factors and genetic pressures. Humans, whales, crocodiles, cockroaches....they all started out at the same point and reflect different paths of evolution to fill environmental niches.

As i see it, you creationists fear facts. You are terrified that your myth may be exposed
as the fraud that it is. That is why Muslims murder infidels, why there was a Spanish inquisition.
It is why Witches were persecuted, murdered for their beliefs.

I think I understand the evolotion theory pretty well...I was taught it through most of school. That creatures evoled from a single cell in a primeval oz. Then to a ape ...then to man. But there is something called the missing link. Where the ape stopped and man started. But it is still missing. You cant show anyone the "missing link". And I cant show anyone "God". So by that you can really only say Homosapien has been on earth 200,000 years. By the laws of science you cant just fill in the space with theory. My piont is that with all the forms of life on earth ...past and persent. Like the dinosaurs...the whales, ect. That only one form of life (man) has evoled to the piont we are now. Man did it in 200,000 years ..but other species have been here for 100's of millions of years. Some with brains much larger than man's. But man is the only one that has built civilisation. Can you explain that to me Slick? I have a hard time understanding that.

Human evolution currently is VERY well documented.
You are WRONG, I can show you many intermediate stages!
There is no half man, half ape.
The notion of a missing link is so obsolete, but the creationists feed off of it.
There are a few missing pieces in the fossil record, but the perponderence of evidence
is that there is a clear evolutionary path in the fossil record from an ape like creature 6,000,000
years ago to modern man today.

Yes Blooddrive, you can say that with confidence that we evolved very rapidly over
the past 1,000,000 years.
You want to believe in a God or devine intervention?
Then you can give credit the God deity for accelerating Human evolution.
Creationism is easily proven a fraud.

Show me a fossil proving a God!
Again, you can never do that.

God allows a certain amount of evolution. That's not hard to understand. It doesn't mean that's the total answer.

The problem with having a discussion with you is you don't answer question that we ask you. You ask us to prove there's a God. That's not easy to do if you have a closed mind about it. Which you do. If we trying to make a point by asking you question and you don't answer, but just throw out an insult. The conversation has stopped and we can go no further. The problem is the large gaps in using a forum for this. In a normal conversation in person i'd ask you a question, you'd answer, and then i'd go on with my next point. That's impossible to do with you. It's exhausting.

So, we give up, come down to your level, and start to insult you. I think it would be best for all of us to stop talking about religion/evolution. We aren't going to convince each other of the others beliefs. Nobody will change their mind.

Now don't turn this around and say you've won anything. You haven't. Act your age and just drop this.

If you can prove the existance of a God, then it becomes fact.

It's really that simple.

All life evolved from a common ancestor. That's a whole lot of allowed evolution.

There is nothing to give up on. I accept the truth, the facts speak for themselves.
Atheism is truth.
Evolution is fact.
There is no creation except for life creates for itself.
