Interesting point of view. However, he makes the assumption that someone, anyone, in any real power proposes a 'limitless power' for the Federal Government. That isn't possible within our system, and no major politician who Beck comments on has EVER so much as SUGGESTED that we abandon the Constitution. The founders provided a Constitution which was very malleable, as they knew times and situations would change within the nation. Just as an easy example, in the Early years of the nation, very few citizens had anything approaching what could be called income. We had, by and large, a subsistance economy, with a very small number of well-to-do types, but most of their wealth was in land-holdings. The nation was largely agrarian, with NOTHING approaching a factory. That all changed within 75 years, and the nation had to change with it, along with the role of government. So, it continues to this day. Can one argue the relative power of the Federal government relative to that of the States, or the individual? Sure. Can one try to prevail against the tendency of larger institutions to become corrupted? Of course. But, what Beck and others seem to suggest is that we roll the clock back to the governance of 1785 or so, and that would not only prove impossible, but would work to the detriment of all but about 3% of the nation, which controls the land holdings and vast majority of capital. And, if you dig deep enough, you might just find that those are the same folks that keep the money flowing to supposed 'grassroots' movements.........

Glen Beck is stupid. Glen Beck's stupid has it's own stupid. Glen Beck's stupid is so dense it could have capped that oil well in the Gulf of Mexico. Glen Beck's stupid has it's own zip code. Glen Beck's stupid is so toxic it causes global warming. Glen Beck's stupid is bigger than Google. Glen Beck's stupid is so powerful it once defeated Chuck Norris. Glen Beck's stupid is a black hole of stupid capable of sucking in stupid from other universes in alternate dimensions.

What point what was that?Fox News host Glenn Beck’s TV show has been breaking records — attracting more than 3 million viewers a night — since it burst on the scene in January.
He’s the only author ever to have a No. 1 New York Times best-seller in the fiction, nonfiction and paperback fiction categories.
His syndicated radio show airs on more than 400 stations, his Web site and Web casts are thriving, and his live comedy performances are jam-packed.
