Remember in November
Re: Remember in November
That's the whole idea.
Obama's plan is called "trickle up poverty".
He's pulling all of us down to his level!
At least until 2012.....
And Callmesick, as I see it Joe Biden was chosen as VP because
the radical right see's him as worse than Obama. It's a ploy to
prevent a right wing head case from taking Obama's life.

LMAO, only an ultra leftist could call Biden a sensible choice.

try re-reading that. Sales of foreclosed homes shot up. In other words, the price point rose to where it was in the lender's interests to sell. Actual foreclosure action is continuing a downward trend.Wullie wrote: BTW, foreclosures went through the roof last August, the highest yet in the last three years. Who was it that was running the house and the senate again during that time period again?
which is pretty much the outcome of over 20 years of an economy which favors investment income over labor income. Like I've been saying here for years......trust me, it will get worse, and whining about Soros,According to newest census report 1 in 7 Americans is living below the poverty line.
Pelosi or Obama, or replacing the entire congress with clueless nitwits who will fuck up what little social safety net we have isn't going to make things better.
how the fuck is someone supposed to turn around 20 plus years of greed and stupid de-regulation in a year or two. Especially, given the fact that it will involve asking the US citizenry to make serious, long-term sacrifices? Like I said earlier, find me the leadership willing to sell the public on the fact that taxes have to be raised, to pay for massive infrastructure overhauls AND debt reduction, and that folks have to focus on personal responsibility and extreme fiscal restraint, and I'll be there for them.Ol' Barry and his gang are really fixing things. I figure Barry, Nancy, Harry, and Soros will have it about right in their minds when seven out of seven Americans are below the poverty line.

Re: Remember in November
sorry, but no, Pud. I hear nothing out of the 'Tea Party' but lower taxes(disaster with a deficit, NEVER really stimulates growth) and smaller government(a one-way ticket to third-world status, if you overdo it). What I want to hear is someone willing to inspire folks(ALL of the folks) to be willing to sacrifice, and do so until we right the ship. That's my key issue with the tea party......they are ok by me with the 'throw the bums out' bit, but I don't see people with any intellectual strength replacing them. A new set of bums, and clueless bums at that, is not the ticket. The only solace I take from the Tea Party is that it will finally force the sensible Republicans, traditional Republicans, into forming a coalition with the moderate Dems(think, Bill Bradley, Evan Bayh types). If you wish to see this sort of team, look at some of the key players who Obama appointed to the deficit reconciliation commission. Some real bright folks there, from both parties, keenly aware of the shit we're all facing.

Ok, I hear you....disagree, but hear you....just throwing this out there...how about 111 million dollars to save 55 jobs? and how does that relate to what you wrote.....surely, you don't see that kind of thing as the path to a new prosperity......at least, I don't believe you do....do you?

Being aware of it is great. That's the first step. Some real bright folks there, from both parties, keenly aware of the shit we're all facing.
Now all they have to do is get "chosen one" and his puppet master to quit writing hot checks.

I agree with you there. However, your boy Biden ain't sensible nor is he moderate. I know him too. Next time you talk to him mention my nickname. I told him the whole backstory behind it.callmeslick wrote: it will finally force the sensible Republicans, traditional Republicans, into forming a coalition with the moderate Dems
