I hammered about Bush and the Patriot Act. Now, the Dems are trying to one up the GOP. Can't wait to hear Slick defend this invasion of privacy...........

you won't, sorry. I heard about this one today, and shot off a nastygram to DC before posting this. It's like religious tolerance, and acceptance of immigrants....you don't sell out the principles that the US stands for without weakening the nation.

whoa! That'll close down about 98% of the Right-wing blogs. Seriously, what they are saying in rebuttal is that terrorist-types are using the internet nowadays as the preferred medium for communications. I still have grave issues with library book and phone monitoring, so to be consistent, I have to be just as alarmed over this.
