Obamacare and McDonald's

Post by ruggbutt »

Looks like Mikkie Deez health care isn't compatible with Obamacare, so they're just gonna "un insure" their employees. This administration has dropped the ball.

um, you know that was the plan, right? Don't worry, within 5 years, I'll guarantee you that we have true national healthcare coverage. Medicare for all. 60% of the nation wants it right now, and after the loons try and fuck up the half-assed version, that number will go to like 80%

Sick! You don't get it! We the GOP will ELIMINATE that crap health care bill as soon
as we take control. Bummer we will have to wait for Obama's defeat first.
But we WILL completely scrub the nation of that crap care bill.

I sense a massive VICTORY this November!

I repeat, for the slow section.....poll after poll has shown that much of the dissatisfaction by the public with the current law is that it did not go FAR enough. Poll after poll consistently show around 60% of the voting adults in this country want something akin to Medicare for all, and are willing to pay for it.

The biggest problem I see with obamacare is that is isn't really about health care. I see it as more of a control package than a health care package.

in a way, I agree with you, Wullie. It was a collection of 'tinkering around the edges' nonsense, that really doesn't get what needs to be done accomplished. Real, universal healthcare would be good for business(gets out from behind competetive disadvantage with rest of the world), good for workers(no fear of loss of healthcare when job is lost or career change/return to school is considered), good for taxpayers(WAY more efficient use of money). The only losers would be the stockholders of insurance companies. And, even they would fare better over the long haul.

Dissatisfaction has to do with how it's being implemented and what programs are going to be raped. Insurance companies need to be restricted just like drug companies and lawyers who do malpractice cases. This is the only way that any type of real, cost effective health care can be accomplished. Otherwise it'll be just like the USPS or other govt. agencies that need to be revamped.
