you might see it that way.callmeslick wrote:the 'tone' is pure tongue-in-cheek.
I do not.
I have a Pure distain for anyone that uses stereo types. Especially racial. let every man stand on his own merit.
wise words"judge a man not by the color of his skin, but by the content of his character".
honestly I've only listened to Beck a couple of times. I have enjoyed his historical backround of some of his stories. as for the "deep seeded hatred of whites" I'd be judging the mans heart if I agreed with that statement. BUT!!! there is some backing to substantiate that line of thought. Reverend Jeremiah Wright the man is a pure racist bigot, and Obama sat under than man's teachings for 20 years. Nuf said.Glenn Beck is one of the downright terrified, and has said that Obama has "a deep-seated hatred of white people or the white culture." Which makes you wonder, has Beck really not seen Obama in his golf attire?
agreed.... if this country surviveson a serious note, and Steven is trying to make one, with humor: he is correct in his general premise: America is going to be a lot less white in the rather near future, and those people of color are going to support the retired, older white guys, via taxes for Medicare and Social Security for starters. A healthy dose of trying to get along would be nice.
