That's why we put guys like this in harms way. They have the knowledge and the will to do so. He's a hero.fatman wrote:When its put like that its eye opening
Re: Marxism in America from a Special Forces Soldier
Either that or (and that´s more likely) an insane retard.
The funniest and stupidest thing was when he said the discrediting the opposition is a sign of marxism. Guess the Repubs are the biggest Marxists overall, heh?
The Bailout was a sign of nationalizing the economy and of Marxism? Guess what dumbfuck, the Repubs would have done the same.
If that´s what´s put "in harms way" then its understandable that the iraqis and afghans (among others) hate the US army.

Well, I see a couple of "idiots", who have "never been there or done that" of their own will or at the direction of others.... That General has done that. Your opinions would have more value, if you could say the same.nuf wrote:Either that or (and that´s more likely) an insane retard.

You don't make General rank by being an idiot. Those guys are professionals.
Re: Marxism in America from a Special Forces Soldier
I´ll never believe that just somebody has a more or less higher position in some area or another that he´s automatically an expert in all areas. And i´d hope that other people would think like that as well because mindless bowing to authority seldom has an overall positive effect.
This guy says dumb stuff and makes a fool of himself not only by abusing his military position to fire up the fears of gullible and not very well educated people but also by proving that he has no idea what he is talking about. See my republicans comment. They must be at least half Marxists for them.
See, here is the problem: If suddenly everything is socialist and marxist then very soon nothing is. By watering down words and feeding fear propaganda to the lower intellectual end of society this guy is doing his cause a disservice in the long run. Because just as many people today are fed up with hope and change they soon will be with marxist and nazi-socialists everywhere. Then the pendulum swings back and, like usually in the US, it might swing back hard.
