I see, with you it's all about winning and losing, like a football game. You see, son, for me it's about GOVERNING, the running of the nation in such a way as to benefit the PEOPLE, to the greatest extent possible. I'd agree with anyone that we fall terribly short of those goals at the present time. My fear is that there still isn't any group really focused on the welfare of the nation, it's long-term economic health and keeping the society safe and civil. You sure don't represent anything that reflects well on your nation, or provides any hope that the electorate will figure out that the road to the future doesn't involve trying to re-enact the society we had in 1800. Right now, only 45% of the people have confidence in the President to work towards positive outcomes, and something around 25% have such faith in either party's Congressional representatives. Such misgivings are well placed. Now, how is that going to change? Pelosi out, fine. But, replace her with Boehner, who has stated for years that he is tight with lobbyists for big business and proud of it. Think that's going to work out for the average guy? Senate unchanged, so what? Maybe even less Presidential appointments cleared to serve in the Administration? Great, let's tie the hands of the guy who the public has the most hope for and faith in. Good plan. Obama chastened? That's always a good thing, to keep folks honest(and I look forward to sensible oversight from the House, let's hope they don't piss away the chance, a la the Clinton years). But, what changes? Nothing.

I suppose life would be less challenging if I just took the childish view of the whole thing as a sort of game.
I could be here going, "Whoopie! It was grizzley season, and Palin's top mamas got eaten alive. Palin and the Tea Party loons saved the Senate for the Dems! Wahoo!".....but, really, this shit is WAY to serious for that sort of bullshit....Believe me, some Dem strategists are already looking to 2012 and planning payback. And, they too are wrongheaded. I'll still gladly come to this place and give Obama props. He has a clear idea of what the nation really needs to do to stay on top, keeps pursuing the course despite minefields and roadblocks. He hopefully learned his mistake of trusting the Congressional idiots to get things right(Healthcare and Stimulus) and settling for lukewarm compromises that hurt him last week. He is smart, and will learn. Will you, Happy?

I have learned much. The Clinton and Obama administrations have deeply divided the country.
It is really us vs them. We The People have won a GREAT victory (this time).
The only issue we agree on is I hope the chance for reform is not wasted.
We still have a communist president to dispose of, and that will wait till 2012.
Yes Callmesick, I see a Marxist president, pure and simple.
Obama is the Manchurian candidate in a real life. We will dispose
of his lame ass in 2012, but in the mean time it will be a 2 year cat fight.

One more cat fight. I will like to see Pelosi fail to be elected minority leader.
I love the sound of it.... MINORITY LEADER....

This is war, the free vs the self imprisioned. One look at Mass helps define the difference.
The kept every lame ass communist and voted to keep their sky high sales tax.
Most of us voted for freedom!

VIVA La TEA PARTY!

Well, HH seems to ignore me now. So, what little challenge he offered before is down to nothing now.

I was wrong though. HH is funny when he thinks he's won something.

Have you by chance read the SEPT 27, 2010 FORBES MAGAZINE article about your chosen one with all the answers?
http://www.forbes.com/forbes/2010/0927/ ... oblem.html
This may be the only article you will see examining where, what and why Obama does what he does.No wonder the White House is up in arms about the article. They brought the Forbes White House Bureau Chief in and raked him over the coals.

But then,

riotous laughter, no doubt.....that thing was so full of half-truths and outright fabrication it should be listed as fiction at the top of the article.

Long but excellent read Wullie!
I knew Callmesick would not like the article.
It tells the truth about his favorite commie!

Why? Because it wasn't the huffpo or NPR that broke that story?

Care to tell us about the items you challenge in the article?
Seems to me to be quite factual.

That is the problem with the Obama election.
The facts, like his own books, tell the story
and no one was bothering to READ.
