I'm not the least bit jealous that I don't have to pay for your medical treatment

Sounds like you saved enough to buy a quality handgun, ammo and a CCL.......well, maybe not....
Re: So Merrikans jealous yet?
No more than jealous of the f'erners and welfare-quality slugs in our country who get the same treatment - except in a much more timely manner than you do. Do you know how much of your taxes pays for what you imagine is free?

give it up, Fatman.......you're trying to educate fools. Fools who wonder why their salaries don't increase more, why the economy doesn't improve and why the CEO's of the Insurance companies get $15 million dollar salaries and personal jets. Heck, Fatman, doesn't it just shock you that the rest of the world doesn't do it like the US does?? What fools you all are.....

Well it looks like he pays much less of his taxes for healthcare than you and has free access instead of your unfree healthcare which is also one of the worst in the western world.Barfly wrote:No more than jealous of the f'erners and welfare-quality slugs in our country who get the same treatment - except in a much more timely manner than you do. According to Reuters, “The United States spends more on healthcare than any country in the world but has higher rates of infant mortality, diabetes and other ills than many other developed countries.”
http://www.cfr.org/publication/13325/he ... eness.html
The United States spends an estimated $2 trillion annually on healthcare expenses, more than any other industrialized country. According to data from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the United States spends two-and-a-half times more than the OECD average, and yet ranks with Turkey and Mexico as the only OECD countries without universal health coverage. Some analysts say an increasing number of U.S. businesses are less competitive globally because of ballooning healthcare costs.
The United States spent more than 17 percent of its GDP in 2009 on healthcare, higher than any other developed nation. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimates that number will rise to 25 percent by 2025 without changes to federal law (PDF). Employer-funded coverage is the structural mainstay of the U.S. health insurance system.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_care_in_AustraliaIn 2007-08, Australia spent 9.1% of GDP on health care, or AUD$4874 per capita.

I guess most people with an above home schooled education understand that you can hardly reason with people on the far extreme right. That´s why most ultra right wing forums become a rightwing circle jirk after some time.
Still it´s interesting to see how brainwashed people can become and how much they´re willing to accept lies and vote against their best interest just to win against "the other side."
Slick, if you find some time in the near future read this thread. It´s a great explanation to a Brit why the american right (and party the left) is so crazy. There are so many points named there that i remember on the couple of extreme right wing forums on the net and for foreigners it´s a fabulous guide to understanding what´s going on in the mind of some of these people.

well you OBVIOUSLY dont know jack shit about homeschooled education do you. I do hope you know more about the Canadian and American healthcare systems than you think you know about home schooling educationnuf wrote:I guess most people with an above home schooled education understand
Statistics do not just speak favorably about minorities but all students who homeschool, regardless of their demographics. The study “Strengths of Their Own: Home Schoolers Across America” completed in 1997, included 5,402 students that homeschool. The study verified that on average, homeschoolers were performing higher than their public school equivalent “by 30 to 37 percentile points in all subjects”
New evidence has been found that homeschooled children are getting higher scores on the ACT and SAT tests. A study at Wheaton College in Illinois showed that the freshmen that were homeschooled for high school scored fifty-eight points higher on their SAT scores than those students who attended public or private schools. Most colleges look at the ACT and SAT scores of homeschooled children when considering them for acceptance to a college. On average, homeschooled children score eighty-one points higher than the national average on the SAT scores
