I get so tired of hearing that shit.
why would anything in the history of war or mankind dictate otherwise? The Germans overran Europe precisely because of superior equipment, both in technology and sheer supply. We, in the opinion of many historians, beat the Japanese because of two things: superior firefighting technology(saved our fleet and allowed us to end up with naval superiority) and nuclear weapons(the ultimate technological advantage).
The fact that we could crank out armaments and supplies faster than the Germans could trash them turned the tide on that front(along with a massive tactical blunder in going toward Russia). What are you trying to suggest, Buzz, that we simply won because of some moral superiority? Get real, history proves that moral superiority generally doesn't count for shit.

I live in Texas....you live in America.

isn't that simply a case of them getting stretched too thin by the whole two-front blunder?

Further, no one trained people like the US...not in quantity or quality....our experienced pilots were sent back to the states and incorporated into our training programs......no one else could "afford" to do this....to include Japan.

That is how we beat them. Are you saying it's the only way we could have beat them?
I did say if we both had equal equipment. You dodged that.
I don't think the two front situation (had it been different, one front) would have been a definitive tell...war would surely have lasted longer...the end and cause of the end, the same...
