given the attitude of the NRA, Pud, it might be 'all that difficult'. I can hear the bleating now about 'gubmit in our faces' and such. I have no problem with gun owners, nor guns themselves, but the NRA seems to almost be hell-bent on protecting the easy access of criminals to weaponry, and I never could understand why.

While I didn't check everyone of the listed USA companies...the few, that I was able to...all imported the weapons from various sources outside the USA....

Do you have access to any USA manufacturers that "produce" a lower receiver for the AK-47? I couldn't find any....

I especially wanted to look at Horns Custom Rifles...their site seems to be down...
My internet connection, crappy ISP...is not "speed" reliable...that may be the problem..

My internet is working correctly today....just checked yer facts...and you are quite correct in this instance...
I was surprised...that anybody, especially here in the states, would manufacture AK-47 receivers....I guess a market for idiots does exist here.

Why anybody would buy an after market receiver for that weapon, to build their own? Just defies actual and financial logic.
