Buzz- the germans NEVER complained they were beat by superior eq, they fully realise they were beat (for the most part) by logistics and bad management, if you were to grossly oversimplify it.

the same can be said for any and all of the combatants, some just had more incompetents (or had less qualified, proficient staff/command)

that USA had heaps of luck, and/or that the Japanese had heaps of bad luck, did not play a small part in PTO

perhaps if you would "grab a history book" you'd realise both that, and indeed, US is as chock full o mediocrity as much as any other, despite your need to feel anything else but

expanding your horizons in study beyond the usual spoon-fed apple-pie minstrations of indomitable US kick-ass-n-awesome-ness (america! fuck yea!) that is so de rigeur in your fine country would benefit you Pud; we all know about and have seen how in soviet russia (and still today for that matter) they ingrain just how infallibly glorious the glory of glorious soviet union is, you dont think for even a split second they wouldnt do such things in USA?

look up battle of "vimy ridge" and "ypres" in WWI, and battle of "Kap'Yong" in Korean war

double whammy if you compare performance of canadians vs US on D-day (this will also show you some of that mediocrity in US forces you fail to see otherwise)

i could keep going, of course, and compile a list...im absolutley certain that USA will have far more "great" moments; not surprising, given the relative age and populations of our respective nations, but then you would also find a disporortionately high US failure rate that would simply lock you into denial mode for the rest of your life
