I'll make this easy fer ya Diki-doo....The Germans were stupid...and they had a stupid leader. They suffered for it, along with many others....Same can be said fer the "Nippon-denso's"....Often times here? The same can be said of you and yer opinions.
Grab a history book...read it.

pay closer attention, your statement is redundant, please ensure both further reading and thought than you typically would attempt;Pudfark wrote:I'll make this easy fer ya Diki-doo....The Germans were stupid...and they had a stupid leader.
Daiichidoku wrote:Buzz- the germans NEVER complained they were beat by superior eq, they fully realise they were beat (for the most part) by logistics and bad management, if you were to grossly oversimplify it.
the same can be said for any and all of the combatants, some just had more incompetents (or had less qualified, proficient staff/command)Pudfark wrote:Same can be said fer the "Nippon-denso's"...

that USA had heaps of luck, and/or that the Japanese had heaps of bad luck, did not play a small part in PTO
perhaps if you would "grab a history book" you'd realise both that, and indeed, US is as chock full o mediocrity as much as any other, despite your need to feel anything else but
expanding your horizons in study beyond the usual spoon-fed apple-pie minstrations of indomitable US kick-ass-n-awesome-ness (america! fuck yea!) that is so de rigeur in your fine country would benefit you Pud; we all know about and have seen how in soviet russia (and still today for that matter) they ingrain just how infallibly glorious the glory of glorious soviet union is, you dont think for even a split second they wouldnt do such things in USA?

Daii, if you had read the title of this thread....you should have known...that you could only speculate on the topic.
Your thoughts have been noted and round filed....per usual.
Self esteem. to include nationalism...is something a person should have...or in your case, read about.
Perhaps you should start a thread? About? Your personal contributions and your Country's?
We are waiting......

but, Pud, like self-esteem, nationalism can both be excessive and harmful, wouldn't you agree?Pudfark wrote:Self esteem. to include nationalism...is something a person should have...or in your case, read about.

Re: Shooting Advise
heres a nice one for starters
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Bladensburg
look up battle of "vimy ridge" and "ypres" in WWI, and battle of "Kap'Yong" in Korean war
double whammy if you compare performance of canadians vs US on D-day (this will also show you some of that mediocrity in US forces you fail to see otherwise)
i could keep going, of course, and compile a list...im absolutley certain that USA will have far more "great" moments; not surprising, given the relative age and populations of our respective nations, but then you would also find a disporortionately high US failure rate that would simply lock you into denial mode for the rest of your life
so i wont bother, as in any event, you will just obfusicate and lay out some lame-ass jive that you think is somehow brilliant, as is your wont

What is your country? You seem bashful about listing your location.Daiichidoku wrote:heres a nice one for starters

Tell ANY veteran of the Us Army Air Corp how lucky they were. Especially in the ETO. Be prepared to get your ass whipped by an 85 plus year old man.that USA had heaps of luck,
Hitler was Germany's biggest problem and his stupidity is what kept the Brits from killing him when they had a chance.
