Super Bowl

Post by callmeslick »

Well, sandwiched in between absolute butchery of a couple of patriotic songs, including what may be the worst rendition of our national anthem EVER, and a truly lackluster set of megabucks advertisements, they played a pretty entertaining football game last evening. Comments?

One thing I noticed was that the roads were free of ice and snow......kudos Wullie? :?

I rather enjoyed two items: The Packers winning, and seeing Rosanne Barr get hit with a log. :D

Personally, I thought the game was rather bland. Ben Rottencheezeburger was out of sync all day. Aaron Rodgers spent the vast majority of the second half looking like a deer caught in headlights while his receivers tried to set a new record for dropped passes.
There were a couple of defensive gems, and the Jennings catch was nice...but overall the game lacked excitement. There wasn't a nail biter moment in the whole game. Even the Steelers last play going for it on 4th down didn't seem to have any sense of urgency to it.
On a scale of 1 to 10.....I'd give it a 6. Ho Hum.

And what the fuck was with that half time show! That was unspeakably bad!

Maybe in football, but not overall by any means.
Rosanne Barr wins that prize no contest.
