Have you tried the Jack Daniel's line of sauces? Yummy, yummy!

not bad, either, but will still put my vote on SBR's.

A darn fine Canadian whiskey.
Nice to see you Texans diggin' a good Canadian rye. Was it you or Wullie who said he drinks Seagrams VO?
You might also try Forty Creek Barrel Select. Much better than Crown Royal.

Sorry to disappoint you Res. I can 't stand ANY of the "Canadian" whiskeys.

I can drink corn whiskey and enjoy it. If I'm drinking whiskey, a good highland single malt, Balvennie, Tomatin, The McCallan, or Glenlivet will be my choice.

Most of the time, I drink tequilas like Hornitos, Cien Anos, Cazaodores, or Coralejo.

Svedka is my vodka of choice at the moment.

My wife just laughs when I take pictures of the meat I'm cooking. She takes endless pictures of flowers and stuff. I take pictures of knives, planes, cats, guns, wrecks, and food.

As for BBQ sauce? I usually make my own. Down side of that is that it has to be done at least a day ahead of time for that recipe to work. It's a "sweet" red sauce from an old, (1952) Betty Crocker cook book. Kind of trick to use as it will burn black if you aren't careful with the fire. Still tastes good, just looks like Hell.

Most of the store bought brands I've tried taste pretty much the same to me.

I ain't much on ribs, but the wife likes 'em. Next time she holds a gun on me and makes me cook 'em I'll get some pics.

Smartest thing I've ever heard you say.
As I type this I have two fingers of 22 year old Glenfiddich in front of me.

Can't do the Speyside malts. For me it's Highland malts or Tequila.

Tomatin is about the best bang for the buck. Used to drink a LOT of BELLS. A buddy of mine traveled extensively to the mid-east several times a year selling defense stuff. He doesn't drink anything other than beer. He'd load up on BELLS and Cuban cigars at the Heathrow duty free shop and haul 'em back for me. It was about 10 bucks a liter as recall. It is a blend but it wasn't bad. Femmus Groos ( Famous Grouse ) will do in a pinch.
