Trafficking weapons to cartels on Obama's watch

Post by ruggbutt »

Sorry Slick, it's this administration's fault and thank god for Wikileaks. This administration is more sleazy than I even thought it was. So much for you arguing about private gun sales. It's a setup for the Fed to try to restrict law abiding citizen's gun rights.

this stuff far predates Obama. What is amazing is the article's statement that 'we don't know how' these weapons get into the traffikers hands. It seems pretty obvious: we've been selling hardware to the Mexican Armed forces for a couple of decades or more. The Army and government of that country are corrupt. Seems like less than a longshot to guess that the armories have had an open door for the whole time to organized crime.
That said, a LOT of small arms are probably still coming in from the US domestic market, but this information is valid as well. By the way, Ruggie, the wikileaks info predated the Obama administration the way I read it.
