It would be worth standing "behind" it...
Meaning, it would work a lot better, if not perfect...with brass shotgun shells.
Especially with a light taper crimp....feeding them side ways out of a belt, using
plastic shells is iffy....if, ya try to port and polish the chamber mouth?
Ya end up ripping or blowing the rim off the back of the case...
Then again, if he is using a lifter/carrier as in the type used by tubular
magazine fed pumps or autos? That might fix the situation....with a slight mod.
Gonna go back and watch it again...to see if it is a closed or open bolt system....

It appears to be a closed bolt...
An open bolt system would have been
more reliable...seems he is using "over the counter"
parts on it....
