well, Pud, whilst you're gluing your meat, Obama is trying(whether you see it or not) to change the image of the US in the Arab world. Time will tell if it will have an effect, but if we indeed get the feck out of Iraq, and Afghanistan in a timely fashion, and stop backing onerous rulers merely because they 'serve' our short term interests, perhaps we stand a chance. The road out of the mess we've dug ourselves into will be a long one, and thank goodness, in the meantime, for Canadian and Mexican oil to supplement our domestic supply, because I sure wouldn't guarantee a steady flow from the Middle East.

I found his attitude to be a bfd as well Thats what you often get when you send kids to combat and in terms of Afghanistan thats what you often get get when you think you can implement a hearts and minds strategy through the military.

Kids in a foreign country for a year at a time outside the wire they can expect a bullet or an ied at anytime any place, they arent even safe in base just last week or the week before the Yanks had a couple killed in a condition green part of the base, basically im not going to fault them for posing with bodies or even being a bit trigger happy, now down and out murder well they can hang but thats about the only line. And just remember one thing its all good and proper to sit back here and chime in but we arent there looking at the situation as it appears

Lemme guess, you never stared down the muzzle of someone elses gun...................I did when I was 15. I shot till he was neutralized. I'm here posting. I win. And I don't feel bad about and it wasn't fair...................for the dickhead who came into my home wanting to do harm. Too bad so sad. Same can be said for a combatant. Just cuz he's wounded doesn't mean that he's not dangerous.

Whom shall that excuse? The civilians killed by "a bit trigger happy" dumb kids who signed up freely to go into another country to kill its people for a reason they don´t even know themselves very likely wouldn´t see "Ya know, war´s tough man and you see these poor kids have a lot of stress" as a perfectly valuable excuse.

There are many soldiers (maybe not in OEF, who knows ) who are able to deal with the stress withough going all "that´s awesome" and posing with the bodies of civilians they just killed.

It´s hard for me to even acknowledge that people exist who think posing and having fun with dead kids bodies is ok. How about if it was your brother who´d be all over the internet naked with the guys whio just killed him posing and cheering? Wouldn´t you fault them and call them barbarians and so on?

And no, i never stared down the muzzle of another mans gun. I was threatened (strange stuff) by three men in south korea of all places. Think karate guys with knives and shit.
If i somehow killed them i still wouldn´t feel it was awesome (and if given the chance pose with their bodies).

Of course wounded people can still be a threat, but this little shit is going all FSP-Dawg on it. Millions of people see the dumb stuff he says and start thinking "What is this american on about. Are these the guys to bring peace and represent us?"
