You sound just like my brother did all his life. A different story on his death bed.

You aren't half as tough as he was.

You'll change at the last minute, but you keep on with your fairy tale if it makes you feel good. I think it makes you look like an idiot.

You are extremely arrogant.
I am 100% certain there is no God!
Why would I cave into a silly fairy tale at the last second?

I am happy for you that the Jesus Cult makes you feel secure.

BUT

You are full of yourself and stupid as usual Buzz.

Albert Einstein 24 January 1936 wrote: "Everyone who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe - a spirit vastly superior to that of man... In this way the pursuit of science leads to a religious feeling of a special sort, which is indeed quite different from the religiosity of someone more naive.
In a letter to V. T. Aaltonen (7 May 1952), Einstein explained his opinion that belief in a personal God is better than atheism. Einstein said, "Mere unbelief in a personal God is no philosophy at all." [Einstein Archive 59-059]
The Encyclopedia Britannica says of him: "Firmly denying atheism, Einstein expressed a belief in "Spinoza's God who reveals himself in the harmony of what exists." This actually motivated his interest in science, as he once remarked to a young physicist: "I want to know how God created this world, I am not interested in this or that phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know His thoughts, the rest are details." Einstein's famous epithet on the "uncertainty principle" was "God does not play dice" - and to him this was a real statement about a God in whom he believed. A famous saying of his was "Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind."
well it appears HH is CLEARLY smarter than Einstein on this matter

Opinions result from a lack of the former and a reliance on the latter."

I do not agree with Einstein on a few things, religion is one of them.

And as to you Cuda...

I do not agree with Einstein on a few things, religion is one of them.

List all his degrees and accomplishments, he was wrong on the God Myth.

This amounts to Two relenltless Fools trying to beat the Santaclause myth into my head.

I'm not trying to beat anything into your head. It matters not to me if you believe or not. I just want you to back up your claims that you have facts to Disprove God. you cannot.
So how does t feel to have a belief in something that you cannot back up with science?
that must just piss you off to no end that you and Christians have so much in common. :D

this is sort of getting circular......then again, it's sort of hilarious how a thread on Obama morphed into a discourse on the existence/non-existence of God.

Another rare post I can agree apon.
This is just a loop at this point.

I look up, out and down and see no god.

I am convinced there is nothing there, that is my proof.

Now show me your God.

You know it's a fairy tale. You know there is no God.

You just can never deal with the truth.

Buzz and Cuda, show me this God or shut up.

I am extremely happy as a non believer.
