So you fit a spring loaded stock so you don't get a sore shoulder when you shoot ?

Nah man it doesnt reduce recoil and its only for a .223 so there is no recoil anyway, they just stick that spring in the buffer tube i presume it has to do with the telescoping.

And out of interest Buzz what does the muzzle loader weigh?

One weighs 7lb 11oz, and another weighs 9lbs.

It could weigh 15 lbs and still kick your head off. It's like a punch on the cheek from Mike Tyson.

Especially, on my bear mauled cheek.

I would probably start to flinch, but the gun has double triggers. When the rear trigger is set, the front trigger is only an 11oz pull. It's hard to flinch with a trigger that light.
