Moody's Weighs Downgrading U.S. Credit Rating as Obama Says He 'Won't Yield' in Debt Talks

Leading credit rating agency Moody's said Wednesday that the U.S. government's impeccable credit rating was under review for a potential downgrade as tensions boil over in Washington with time running out to raise the nation's borrowing limit.

President Obama walked out of high-level negotiations Wednesday, saying according to a Republican aide, "I've reached my limit. This may bring my presidency down, but I won't yield on this."

Obama "stormed out of the room" but promised to resume talks Thursday, the GOP aide said.

you all didn't read the Quinnipiac Poll(Obama absolutely hammers all GOP candidates)

you all probably didn't notice that Obama raised more money this year than ALL the GOP
candidates put together.

you all probably can't understand why a desperate Sen. McConnell suddenly wants to
dump the whole debt ceiling thing onto Obama.

The whole nation knows that the ONLY thing preventing a deal that would cut the deficit
by 400 Billion per year for 10 years is the GOP refusal to close loopholes that benefit ONLY
the wealthy. They know who tries to protect them, and it ain't the GOP. At least, not this
version of loons that goes under that party banner. Gerry Ford, Dwight Eisenhower and others
must roll in their graves over what has become of the party of Teddy Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.

Quinnipiac pol doesn't take into account the swing voters. when those are calculated Romney has the edge over Obama by 4% points

plus I was reading or heard somewhere that Obama has raised that amount of money by doing 40+ fundraisers. Bush raise 50+ million with only 4 fundraisers. so take into account that SOMEDAY Obama will need to focus on his Day job,(first time for everything)and Romney is currently Unemployed and has time on his hands and a TON of wealthy Republican backers just waiting to hand over some of their Hard earned $$$$ before Obama raises Taxes and steals it from them

Telling me that a Quinnipiac poll favors Obama is completely inane.
That's like polling Boston Mass about Obama, they love him in
the center of eastern US communism.
Sadly it looks like we will have a president Romney. I do not really
like him, but his father George Romney was chairman and CEO of
American Motors Corporation from 1954 to 1962 it's only profitable era.
Mitt aint a bad guy for the job. That's 100 times more than I can say
about the incompetent affirmative action refugee Barak Obama.
