When you can take a small step not to turn someone into a Martyr, you do it.

I have given this thought...meaning, I didn't reply immediately...
I am morally inclined to agree with you and in that respect, I do.
However, the history of the last couple of decades and my common sense,
tell me that any act of respect shown towards these people is taken as a
demonstrative sign of weakness by them. They chose to start/fight a war with us
on their terms....Religious Terms. So, they say.... They chose to fight this war without rules or respect for anyone, to include themselves. So be it. So it shall be.
