Hundreds of people protesting Wall Street abuses were penned in and arrested by police Saturday, two weeks into an ongoing demonstration that has become known on Twitter as #OccupyWallStreet.

George Basta, an official with New York Communities for Change, said that the organizers were encouraged by police to march on the street area of the Brooklyn Bridge, instead of the walkway, then subsequently arrested them for marching in traffic. Two lead organizers, Jonathan Westin and Pete Nagy, were penned in by police. Westin managed to exit the police pen, but Nagy is missing and presumed detained by police, Basta told HuffPost.

"Police say some demonstrators spilled onto the roadway Saturday night after being told to stay on the pedestrian pathway," the Associated Press reported.

this movement might be the last hope for true change before this nation veers down the path of nouveau feudalism(a handful of wealthy with a ton of peasants) for good. Interesting that they seem to be at war with Michael Bloomberg's police dept, as he represents much of what is wrong with a greed-centered society.

Slick, I'm not gonna argue with you about their ideals....cuz, I'm not certain about what they actually are?
Why?
They have a really poor, thoughtless way of communicating them....I viewed the "live feed" from the link I posted last night....it was really mind numbing to listen to the goofball on it telling folks? What the demonstration was not about and who they were not affiliated with...

Then, their tactics in expressing themselves?
Getting "mass arrested" on a bridge?
That does not help their cause....Who would believe what they are saying...When they "clump up" on a bridge
and facilitate their "easy" arrest.... Those folks don't seem very bright to me, in what they are trying to present and how they are going about it.....

You know, Glen Beck....he could have gone about things in the same manner as these other folks....he didn't.
He got his own show on Fox...and now his own show on the internet...Why can't these folks do the same thing?

One thing, I've noticed, over the last decade or so?
When folks get into a hurry...they generally do the wrong thing...

There seems to be no continuity of thought or expression in this "Wall Street" protest....

I admit to "cherry picking" this example...however, I viewed many others that are just as confusing and or misleading...

I am beginning to see a pattern...It seems everybody there...is pissed off about something...The one thing that is very apparent? They are so disorganized, a prudent person could consider them to be dangerous...hence, the mass arrests of yesterday...
