I've seen yesterday a documentary on the commercial wars between EU and the US, and there was a piece about the adoption of the Apache and of the JSF by the netherlands. Long story short the netherlands wouldn't have committed to the JSF had the right wing leader Pin Fortuyn not been murdered.
I made a little internet search after watching the documentary, and it brought me this:
Theo Van Gogh, the guy who was making a movie about Pim Fortuyn's murder blaming the dutch intelligence, CIA and Lockheed, was also murdered before finishing the movie.
Louis Sévèke, a left wing journalist who was investigating the "terrorist" group that the murderer of Theo Van Gogh belonged to, and was investigating on the dutch secret service was also murdered (probably by yet another crazed/terrorist/whatever).
Coincidence?
